AWIS announces 2010 Science Teacher Grants

The Lake Superior Chapter of AWIS is pleased to announce the award of two Teacher Grants to support middle school students in science.

Receiving awards for the 2009-2010 academic year are:

Washburn Edison School for supplies to make learning genetics fun using Mr. Potato heads: $250.

Carlton High School for a field trip opportunity for girls to visit with female scientists and specialists in Duluth: $300.
